CDF and the Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Education have successfully launched 20 NFE centres in District Jacobabad, enrolling over 600 out-of-school children in accelerated learning programmes.
CDF and the Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Education have opened 20 non-formal education centres across District Jacobabad.
The centres are helping out-of-school children enter accelerated learning pathways close to their communities. More than 600 learners have enrolled.
Teachers receive ongoing support, learning materials, and monitoring to help ensure safe and inclusive classrooms.
In partnership with Start Network, CDF has initiated heatwave preparedness activities in Jacobabad — training para-medics, establishing community cooling centres, and setting up an ice bank to protect communities during the 2026 heatwave season.
